TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

Method of Entry:

Panel members will be invited via email to participate in one of our online surveys and then need to answer the relevant survey questions to be part of the prize draw. Prize draw entries will vary from each project and respondents will be informed how many prize draw entries they will receive for completing each survey prior to commencement. Respondents who “screen out” or fall into a “quota full” locations will have one entry in the prize draw. Members of the public may also be invited to take part in a telephone research survey. Respondents who complete the telephone survey will be given one entry into the prize draw.

Prize Details: The total value of prizes is $2000. There will be ten gift voucher prizes of the value of $200 each. Winners will be emailed and asked to nominate what $200 voucher they want from a list of options. The options may include Caltex Fuel Vouchers, Coles Myer Shopping Voucher, Bunning’s Hardware Shopping vouchers and a range of other shopping vouchers subject to availability. The final decision on what gift cards that are available will be made by The ORU and notified to prize winners by email.

The draw will take place on 10th August 2010 at 4pm at The ORU, Ogilvy House, Level 1, 72 Christie St, St Leonards, NSW, 2065.

The prize draw will be drawn electronically using an approved random number generating system. The major prize will be drawn first and other prizes drawn in descending order of value. The winners will be notified by email. The winners will be announced in The Australian newspaper on 17th August, 2010. In accordance with The ORU privacy principles only the names of prize winners will be published. NSW Permit Number:  LTPS/10/04600, ACT Permit Number:  ACT TP 10/02127.1. The Trader is: The Online Research Unit Pty Ltd (ABN 70092417840), Ogilvy House, Level 1, 72 Christie St, St Leonards, NSW, 2065. Permits not required by South Australia, Queensland, Tasmania, Western Australia, Northern Territory and Victoria and we comply by the terms & conditions of those states. New Zealand residents are only eligible for individual cash prizes to the value of $1000.

The promoter may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draw as is necessary in order to distribute a prize if unclaimed three months after the first draw. The draw is to be from the previous draw’s total number with the previous prize winners’ numbers removed. The date for the redraw will be on 12th November, 2010 at 4pm at The ORU, Ogilvy House, Level 1, 72 Christie St, St Leonards, NSW, 2065. The results will be posted on our website on 22nd November 2010.

If the winner of the prize is under 18 years the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or guardian. The promoter The ORU abides by the Codes of Professional Behaviour of the Market Research Society of Australia.  The identities of the participants will not be disclosed to any third party other than for the purpose of announcing the winners and will not be used for any non-research purpose. Participating in this research is entirely voluntary and no purchase is necessary in order to enter the prize draw.

Method of Entry:

Panel members will be invited via email to participate in one of our online surveys and then need to answer the relevant survey questions to be part of the prize draw. Respondents who “screen out” or fall into a “quota full” locations will have one entry in the prize draw. Respondents who complete surveys with an average time less than 20 minutes will be given 5 entries in the prize draw. Respondents who complete surveys with an average time greater than 20 minutes will be given 10 entries in the prize draw. Some members of the panel will be invited to participate in special interest surveys. Respondents will receive 20 entries into the prize draw for completing these special interest surveys. Members of the public may also be invited to take part in a telephone research survey. Respondents who complete the telephone survey will be given one entry into the prize draw.

Prize Details: The total value of prizes is $5000
First prize $3,000
Second prize $1,000
Third: $500 
Additional 5 prizes of $100.
